The Art of Dating
In the past couple of
weeks, I've been doing extensive research on the art of dating (ok,
I've just been dating around, but that's like field work, right?) and
this is what I have come up with:
1. Men like women who are
thin, but if you are not thin and you are fun to hang out with, then
sometimes they will like you.
2. Men are also very blind when it comes to the women they choose. I
have noticed that they are choosing good looking women who could
really give a rat's butt about what they do or what they say, but they
are overlooking women who care about them.
3. Women are playing the field and dating like men now. They use men
for a few days, then discard them like last week's dental floss.
4. Men are becoming WAY too attached to women. In fact, these men are
BECOMING women in this way.
5. If you are a man, and you can dance, you can have any woman you
want.
6. If you are in a band, you can have any woman you want.
7. If you are a woman, a short skirt gets you very noticed.
8. Men like bisexual women, or women that they think COULD be
bisexual.
9. Always smell good. (This is for both sexes.)
10. Men and women are not that different.
Some of you may be rolling
your eyes at number 10, but trust me, it's true. We all want to be
liked, we all want to be happy, and we all want someone to be with.
But whether you're looking for Mr. Right or Miss Right Now, remember
that everyone has feelings. We have a right to be respected, and
always put yourself in the other persons shoes.
