Welcome back to Odyssey of Oddities This weeks subject is by request from a recent reader. It is...

INNER TERRESTRIALS

The focus of life has seemed to be off of the planet, yet there is one thing many fail to consider... what if some of them have been here for longer than our own species. This concept is a hard one to consider since mankind has the planet all mapped out by now and we also think that we know all there is to know about our orbiting rock in space. There are still things that you may want to ask yourself, like what if we are being watched from our own planet by beings more advanced that have always been here? How is this possible? I am not going to say that this is even the case for sure. People could blow holes in the theory, and if they can, they should. Let your mind open up to the possibility though that just perhaps there could be inner terrestrials.

Since the dawn of mankind, there have been many accounts of people populating the earth before our "reign". Even the Bible states that there were "Giants in the earth in those days". Oh really? Where did they come from? Giants? If there were giants, how did they happen to be here from apparently the dawn of humanity itself? Not that I think that inner terrestrials are giants, but instead open up to the possibility that there were others here before we happened on the scene. The possibility is definitely there.

I suppose this theory is a hard one to prove. You evolutionists would have an easier time with the possibility. First we must start with evolving creatures. Most animals on the earth are well adapted to their environment. Surely you agree with that. I want to use a grey "alien" for an example. This is what most people seem to claim as their abductors right? Some say that greys are not real and that they are a fabrication designed to fool us all into believing in them. One of my fellow chatters says that there are no "greys" at all. If she is wrong and all of the other people are right, we need to examine the grey alien. We all know they have huge dark eyes. Why would they need such vast light gathering capability? Just as a telescope gathers more light as the telescope gets larger, so does your eye. If you are in the dark, your irises in your eye open up all of the way. Our light gathering is not as great as many other animals. Our eyes aren't that large as compared to some of the other mammals on the planet. If you were in a dark environment all of the time, it would stand to reason that you have large eyes to enable you to see much better. Does this make sense? So, lets assume that wherever they are from,(if they exist) that they evolved in a very dark environment, hence the large eyes. Where is it usually dark? Inside the earth is one place. It would really seem that if they came from elsewhere and it was so dark all of the time, that they would have frozen right? So they have to be from somewhere that is both warm and dark. I think you are catching on. The outside of any planet that is always dark would be frozen, so they had to have been in warmth with very little light. That is my theory anyway.

It only stands to reason that both conditions were necessary. They also seem to be very spindly creatures with no fat on them to keep warm. That would suggest that they were also in a stable warm place to not need body fat. Any miner can tell you that when you get deeper inside of the planet, it gets quite warm and dark. A perfect breeding ground for development of technology. No one to bother you, and you can take all of the resources for metalwork from the same place you live.. Imagine if a group of humans were to live underground away from the warring factions of invaders with a common goal, how long would it take to develop awesome technology? Probably not too long at all if your main goal was just to develop a peaceful useful technology. Then again so much of what we have in technology was developed for war. If you only had a goal of building the ultimate flying machine, how long would it take to do so if your entire population was devoted to just doing that one thing? When we went to the moon, about a third of our gross national product went into the development of the moon rocket. It took less than a decade from the time it was decided to do it, for it to become reality.

We used all of our knowledge and resources, but we got it done in less than one decade. Now take that with a population that is away from all wars and any interference from outside and give them a century or two to do what we did.. I think that given those circumstances, they probably could even make a good flying saucer don't you? Just something to ponder on.

The distances in space are so vast. We don't have a clue how they could traverse such an expanse. We don't know how to do it. It is possible I suppose. The physics are just not understood well enough to pull it off just yet. We may be able to bend space after all and then easily travel to other parts of the galaxy or other galaxies. Right now, the means to do that just aren't quite all figured out yet. The enormous amount of energy required also is a problem. Yet if ufo's are really from other planets, they seem to be able to do this with relative ease. Or are they from another planet? They are all convincing us to look up, when we might want to be looking down instead. I suppose that if I wanted to fool you, I would ask you to watch my right hand, while my left hand pulled the bouquet of flowers out of my coat. Are we looking in the right place? Look up, look down, look all around. Don't dismiss the possibilities.

Another reason for this theory involves evolution. Let's say a distant relative of the dolphin or porpoise actually migrated into undersea caves. In some caves there were openings to vast underground caverns. After hanging out in the cave openings, they re-evolved the legs that they once had. (Dolphins were a known land animal before they took back to the sea. Ask any Palaeontologist and they will tell you that Dolphins were at one time a land mammal, and then went back to the sea.) So knowing that, what if some of the group found an opening to a huge cavern system and eventually evolved to walk up into the cave system.. The eyes of Dolphins sort of look like the eyes of the greys don't they? Large black eyes, seem to be very similar. What about color and skin texture? Seem kind of close to me also. Dolphins are grey too, and the skin texture seems almost the same. Greys have large heads also for their body size. Dolphins have large heads, but they seem okay in proportion to their body size. Now evolve that body from fins to spindly arms and stand it upright. Take away the beak, since it is no longer needed, but retain the straight mouth. What do you have? Hmmm. Something to ponder isn't it? This theory may be all wet though. (Ha ha)

The only support I have for this theory of "inner terrestrials" is from an obscure story that was related concerning some tunnelers that were digging for a military installation. The tunnelers broke through into a cavern that was teeming with greys. A war broke out and many men perished. Only a few got out alive to tell the story. Then you have to wonder about the truthfulness of the story that was told also. I don't believe everything I read. "Trust no one", is a good motto for sure. If the story is true, it surely would make a great movie wouldn't it? But more than that, it would prove that we need to look down instead of up.

The possibility exists that they greys, are from somewhere else and are hiding beneath our planet in caverns while they do their work here (whatever that is), or it could be that they live under us and always have. This is just a theory that a reader wanted me to expand on, and I hope that this story of "inner terrestrials" has given you yet another confusing issue to think about. After all it's an odd place out there sometimes... Gtars said it.
