Goodbye

Because of all the goodbyes I have said
Have not said
Or perhaps the ones I should have said
But could not find the courage
I cry

Because of all the love I have given
Did not give
Or still have inside longing to give
But could not find the will to sustain
I ask why

Because of all the words I have written
Have forgotten to write
Or perhaps am still hoping to write
But can not put down for lack of emotion
I sigh

Because of all the pain I have felt
Refuse to feel
Or constantly deny feeling
But have no desire left to fight
I get high

Because of all the endings have read
Will never read
Or sometimes put off reading
But know I must accept
I say Goodbye....
