baby now weighs more than 5 1/2 pounds and is probably close to 20 inches long. If preterm labor has been weighing heavily on your mind, you'll be happy to know that 99 percent of babies born at week 35 survive  and most have no major problems. Your baby's lungs should be fully developed by now and respiratory problems once a killer in babies born before week 35 are easily treatable
